Oh Goddess please hear me…
i can feel you in my soul
whisper to me softly
ease me from my lull
i know to you this time frame
of what i’m calling life,
to you is just a drop
of dew ,in the moon light…
but i am touched eternally
by my experiences here
and i have tasted only
hate, despair, and fear…
i come to you in reverence
a daughter to her mother
and beg for you to show me
what it means to love another
i feel your love embrace me
in your strong and gentle arms
i hear you whisper too me
you can’t love,if you fear harm…
well then i guess dear mother,
as i lay upon your breast…
i must first learn Trust
and that will be a test
to see if i am truly
healing as i say
and if i’m growing closer
to my innerself each day…
Oh Goddess teach me how
to surrender trust completely…
so that i may too find love
and return it,pure and sweetly
